Terms of Service

Plain-English summary: lemon.gallery gives photographers tools to run their studio — galleries, bookings, invoices, contracts and marketing. You own your content and your clients' data. We charge the plan fee you pick and, on the free plan, a small fee on sales. Be straight with your clients, don't break the law with the tools, and we'll keep the service running and your data private.

1. Who we are

lemon.gallery ("we", "us") provides studio-management and client-gallery software to photographers and studios ("you"). By creating an account you agree to these terms.

2. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your login secure and for everything done under your account. You must be old enough to enter a contract in your country and provide accurate details. One person or business per account unless we agree otherwise in writing.

3. Plans, fees and sales

Paid plans are billed in advance on the interval you choose and renew automatically until cancelled.
On the free plan we deduct a small percentage fee from sales you make through the platform; paid plans reduce or remove that fee as described at sign-up.
Payments to you from your clients are processed by Stripe and are subject to Stripe's terms. Payout timing and card fees are set by Stripe, not us.
You can cancel any time; access continues to the end of the paid period. We don't give pro-rata refunds of subscription fees unless the law requires it.

4. Refunds to your clients

You decide your own refund policy with your clients and can issue refunds to them from inside the app. Platform sales fees already deducted on a refunded sale are returned to you when you refund in full.

5. Your content and your clients' data

You keep all rights to the photos, text and files you upload. You grant us only the limited licence needed to store, process and display them to run the service for you. You are the data controller for your clients' personal data; we are your processor and handle it per our Privacy Policy. You confirm you have the right to upload what you upload.

6. Acceptable use

Don't use lemon.gallery to break the law, infringe copyright, send spam, upload unlawful content, or attempt to disrupt or reverse-engineer the service. We may suspend accounts that do.

7. AI features

Some features draft text (emails, pitches, articles) with AI. You are responsible for reviewing anything before you send or publish it. AI drafts are suggestions, not guarantees of accuracy.

8. Availability

We work to keep the service available but don't guarantee it will be uninterrupted or error-free. We may change or discontinue features with reasonable notice where practical.

9. Liability

To the extent the law allows, our total liability to you for any claim is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential loss. Nothing here limits liability that cannot lawfully be limited.

10. Termination

You can close your account any time. We can suspend or close accounts that breach these terms. On closure you can export your data for a reasonable period before it is deleted.

11. Changes

We may update these terms; material changes will be notified in-app or by email. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated terms.
